Drumbeat Outreach Workshops for Parents/Carers

These workshops are FREE to all parents/carers, whether or not your child attends Drumbeat school.

All workshops are on Tuesdays at 10-11.30am and again at 6-7.30pm.

The morning workshops are held in person at Drumbeat, Turnham Rd, SE4 2HH. The evening workshops are held online.

Upcoming workshops:

1. It’s Different for Girls: Tuesday 14th March 2023. Looking at how girls with social communication differences can present very differently to boys and how to support them.

2. Supporting CYP with School Based Anxiety leading to Difficulties with Attendance: Tuesday 25th April 2023. Looking at how to support children and young people who have school-based anxiety, particularly school refusers and those unable to access school settings as a result of this.

3. Preparing for Transition to Secondary School: Tuesday 16th May 2023. Looking at how to plan for change and support independence as your young person prepares for secondary school.

4. Emotional Regulation Strategies: Tuesday 13th June 2023. Looking at how to support your young person to develop self-regulation strategies by creating their own toolkit to manage their responses, thoughts and feelings.
